Mahila Salah Suraksha

There are MSSKs in Rajasthan to safeguard the interests of women across the State. They are operated by reputed registered Non Govt Organizations with an understanding to ensure holistic redressal of grievances. They act as service providers and ensure safety and security of the aggrieved women. They help the protection officer of the district to file Daily Incidence Report (DIR) in cases of Domestic Violence.

The money to MSSKs is routed by women Empowerment Department through the Zila Sahayata Samiti as the member secretary provides them money in quarterly installments. Zila sahayata Samities under the chairpersonship of the Zila Pramukhs examine forms of applicants for selection of Institution / organisation for routing the money, disbursing quarterly funds to the institution / organization and quarterly non-intrusive monitoring.
